Angela Tucci Robinson

Angela Tucci Robinson’s generous spirit, combined with undaunted hope, has given rise to Mushana, whose goal is to build a sustainable life for communities in Uganda through handcrafted beads, art, fabric and fashion accessories.

Angela became involved with Uganda in 2006, through a charitable relationship with an orphanage and AIDS widow community.
Angela’s initial financial support for this village led her to the development of Mushana.
As part of Mushana, Angela created “bead bonding” , linking the artisans in Uganda with designers around the world.
By collaborating with these designers, Mushana is creating the opportunity for a sustainable and dignified source of income for these communities.

Angela has degrees in horticulture and floral design, and experience in sales management, product development and buying.
Her other businesses include private label jewelry and fashion, landscape/softscape design, and art curation/installation.

Angela believes that we can make a difference locally as we reach globally by “working together under one sun.”
